Introductory class for first-timers

Come on your own or bring your friends along for our taster classes! You will learn some fun tricks and finish the class with a sassy routine.

$18 per 1 hr trial.

What Do I Prepare?

Pole

Don on your fitness attire or any clothing that you feel comfortable sweating and moving around freely in. This includes but is not limited to t-shirts, shorts, spandex pants, sports bras, etc. Do ensure that bottoms are above knee length. Going barefoot is recommended.

Bring a water bottle, and two towels – one for your sweat and the other to wipe down the poles with (towels are available for purchase in studio at $1.50).

Strictly no body moisturiser or sunscreen the day before and on the day of your class. (You need your bare skin for grip on the pole!)


Lyra

Don on your fitness attire or any clothing that you feel comfortable sweating and moving around freely in. This includes but is not limited to t-shirts, shorts, spandex pants, sports bras, etc. Socks or barefoot is okay.

Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.


Hammock

Don on your fitness attire or any clothing that you feel comfortable sweating and moving around freely in. This includes but is not limited to t-shirts, shorts, spandex pants, sports bras, etc. SLEEVED TOPS ARE MANDATORY (sleeved tops are available for purchase in studio at $15). Barefoot is recommended.

Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.


CHAIR

Don on your fitness attire or any clothing that you feel comfortable sweating and moving around freely in. This includes but is not limited to t-shirts, shorts, long tights spandex pants, sports bras, etc. Socks or barefoot is okay. Do bring along cushioned kneepads (available for purchase in studio from $17).

Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.


STRETCH

Don on your fitness attire or any clothing that you feel comfortable sweating and moving around freely in. This includes but is not limited to t-shirts, shorts, spandex pants, sports bras, etc. Barefoot is recommended. BYO yoga mat. Other apparatus will be provided.

Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.


Please read the following terms & conditions* carefully before booking:

  • Chair trial classes are for ladies only.

  • Each trial class is an hour.

  • Trial class is reserved for first-timers to each apparatus at SLAP Dance Studio. Each first-timer may enrol in 1 trial class for each apparatus only (pole, lyra, hammock, chair, stretch). Additional trials booked will be charged at drop-in rate.

  • No postponement or refund of trial classes once booked. They can be transferred to a friend. Please write in to hello@slap.sg to inform us.

  • Latecomers will not be allowed to join the class as participants need to be present for the warmup to perform the sport safely.
